This year's adventure will have two parts:
Part 1 - West to East, 12 May through about 10 June. This will be a west to east cross-country motorcycle ride starting in the Reno/Tahoe area and ending when I get back home to Auburn, MA. On this ride I will be going through such places as Death Valley, CA, Tecopa Hot Springs, CA, Silver City, NM, El Paso, TX, Natchez, MS, Natchez Trace, Whiskey Trail in KY, Deal's Gap and the Dragon's Tail in NC/TN, to name a few. This motorcycle ride may get real interesting as the plan is to cross the Mississippi River at Natchez, MS in view of the river flood cresting conditions being experienced currently (mid-May).
Part 2 - Alaska, 27 June through 17 July. This will be a rental motorcycle ride and land tour of Alaska that will include Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula, Denali National Park, Fairbanks, Tok and back to Anchorage. This will be followed by a seven-day Voyage of the Glaciers cruise from Whittier, AK to Vancouver, BC, with several on-shore excursions.
